During Contests

1. Solve Inside Pahzzles

   Puzzles should be solved entirely inside the puzzle app. They should not be solved elsewhere and then copied into Pahzzles.

2. No Outside Help

   External tools and communication with other people are not allowed for solving contest puzzles.

3. Scoring

   Each puzzle gives its listed points when solved during the contest. Users are ranked by their total number of points.

4. Tie Breaks

   Ties are broken by the elapsed time since the start of the contest to reach that point total.

5. Contest Time Matters

   Individual per-puzzle time does not matter during a contest. Only the time elapsed from the start of the contest to the puzzle's first solve time matters.

6. Contest End

   Once the contest ends, no more puzzle solves will affect the contest results. Results remain pending until finalized.

7. Pearl Rewards

   Finalized contests grant 1 pearl for each distinct solved puzzle, plus 15, 10, and 5 bonus pearls for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
